Pharma Search Partners Inc is a small team consisting of one account manager and 7 recruiters according to their LinkedIn and company page. Having a small team is no problem as long as you have a specific focus or niche. According to Pharma Search Partners Inc’s website they specialize in clinical research, marketing, engineering, life sciences, academia, and IT. Although there are many open requisitions open on their website, having a company with a small team cast such a wide net in different industries makes you wonder how efficient they are and if their candidates stick.

On their website, the company founder describes the screening process as having the recruiting team qualifying candidates before he interviews them twice. “He may then ask specific questions for clarification and then on a rare occasion they speak with the hiring manager for five minutes for final clarification.” Shouldn’t the hiring manager have more time to evaluate candidates for themselves? I also question his decision to interview a candidate twice. If anything the 2nd interview should be reserved for the hiring manager. Having this statement in their About Us page makes room for doubt in my mind if this company really values their partners input when choosing their candidates, and if they are really listening to what their clients need.

    This company wasn’t as effective as I hoped. I went through the recruiting process just fine and then when I got to the account manager he called me back for yet another interview but again with just him. He needed some “clarification” questions and it really made me wonder how thorough their interview process is. I ended up not getting the job, and I never even got to speak with the hiring manager. What a waste of time!

    I actually had the exact opposite experience as the previous comment. In my experience, they really went in depth into my experience and background and presented a well fit position. I spoke with Jamie through the entire interview process. His guidance really ensured I would not be taken by surprise. I knew what was going to be asked and by whom. Every time I decide to change jobs, I contact them. I actually got the position I am in now, through Pharma Search Partners. A recruiter is supposed to be hands on with you and present quality positions. They do just that! It is your job as the “job seeker” to win over the Hiring Manager.

    My experience with Pharma Search Partners mirrored the previous individual. The guidance,prep and details that i was exposed to in getting submitted,Interviewing and coming to a offer was fantastic.
    Mr Riley handled everything including discussions on the interview team and what he thought the interviewers would discuss. He provided a best guess cost of living and ideas of of the area.. The basic knowledge of PK, PK/PD they presented was good. This company does it right and tries to make the candidate and client happy. I actually will be using them now as a hiring manager.

    James C Riley will not pay you if you get into business with him. stay far away from this guy, he owned a company in Florida called Phase One Solutions and he closed the doors not telling us employees and went to Mexico for the holidays as we sat with no pay and no jobs. He has many UCCs on him in South Carolina and his business there was closed by the state he has legal on him in Florida and UCCS contact chrisrussocrc at g mail dot com

    this guy is a a real jerk Jamie Riley he is a big LIE and joke. check out ripoff report how he never pays employees look at Phase One Solutions in Fl and the UCCs on him their and in South Carolina all public record he even screwed a payroll company in florida
